IONA Contemporary Dance Theatre is the main project of Nova Arts Foundation, a 501C-3 non-profit organization. The Board of Directors of Nova Arts Foundation is comprised of individuals from the community whose responsibilities include fund raising, short and long term planning, and fiscal management for the IONA Contemporary Dance Theatre through the following committees: Planning Finance & Budget, Fund Development, and Marketing. Committees are headed by board members and include individuals from the community chosen for their expertise in those areas. The Company also benefits from a group of advisory board members whose major role is to serve as advocates for IONA in the business community, and to assist with planning and development. All board members and advisors participate in an annual Vision Planning Retreat.
