Under the shimmering full moon, Lemurians reunited around the Helumoa Pool at the Sheraton Waikiki on October 23, 2010. Feasting on scrumptious delicacies from Nature’s Elements and toasting with bold wines from JMD Beverages, party goers were thoroughly entertained with dancers at every turn. Unveiled characters for the evening included IONA's Rainbow Butterfly, Purple Rose, and Upside Down Tulip. One of the hits of the evening were the Dolphins doing tricks at each table and tumbling in the crowd, courtesy of Hawaii Pacific University Cheer Squad. Here fishy, fishy!

Parties within the party were hosted at sponsored theme tables like Groovin’ Off the Grid, The Green Flashers, and Tweet and Meet New Lemurians to name only a few. Guests dressed to impress with vines and greenery, Lemur stuffed animals to accessorize, and green flashy-blinky everything.

Thanks to everyone that joined in the fun! IONA’s gala and auction raised almost $60,000 to support IONA’s operations. Enormous appreciation goes to all the generous auction donors and shoppers, event sponsors, the Sheraton Waikiki, and of course the Event Committee!
