IONA's 2012 Season of La Madonna was a big hit and truly one of the Company's best productions to date. The show's venue of the old Banana Republic space on Kalakaua provided an exquisite platform for the re-envisioned 2012 production.

One of the premiere installations was "The Word Made Flesh" featuring Summer Partlon as the 'Awakened Mary', removing the abuse of women from this world with her body. Dancer Jamie Nakama blew the cosmic roof off the building as "White Tara", channeling deep connections with the audience.
